Second Mobility in
North Macedonia: ‘’Truth in the Shadow of Green”
Day 1 – Welcome to
Skopje 🌍🇲🇰
The first day of our Erasmus+ project “Environmentalist
in the Virtual Universe” began with a warm welcome for all participants.
Students and teachers gathered together for the first time, excited to start a
week full of learning, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
Welcome Meeting 🤝
The hosting school officially welcomed the visiting
groups and introduced the program for the upcoming days. Students had the
opportunity to meet their international peers, get to know each other, and
learn more about the goals of the project. The atmosphere was friendly and full
of curiosity as everyone prepared for the activities ahead.
Discovering Local Culture 🍽️
One of the highlights of the first day was the chance
to experience traditional local cuisine. Participants tasted several regional
dishes, discovering new flavors and learning about the culinary traditions
of the host country. Sharing meals together helped students connect and start
building friendships.
Exploring Skopje 🏛️
In the afternoon, the group went on a guided tour
of Skopje, the capital city. Students explored important landmarks,
historical sites, and cultural attractions while learning about the city's rich
history and diverse heritage.
Walking through the city allowed participants to
experience the unique atmosphere of Skopje, where history, culture, and
modern life meet. It was a perfect way to begin the project and introduce
visitors to the local environment and traditions.
A Great Start
Day 1 was all about welcoming guests, discovering
local culture, and building new connections. It set a positive and
enthusiastic tone for the rest of the project, preparing everyone for the
educational and creative activities that would follow in the coming days. 🌱✨
